This season, the magical tale of a sleepy princess, fantastical fairies and the cursed spindle of a spinning wheel is being retold by graceful ballerinas dressed in gorgeous LED-lit ensembles. What is ‘We call it Ballet’?
From the choreography to the storyline, ‘We call it Ballet’ remains true to the original Sleeping Beauty ballet composed over 130 years ago. But the magic doesn’t stop at the dancing. At this show, the century-old tale is given a luminous twist thanks to the glow-in-the-dark ballerina costumes. Every plié and pirouette is illuminated by hundreds of LED lights embellished on their arms, tutus and tiaras.

At ‘We call it Ballet’, the beloved story of a cursed princess and her 100-year slumber is told with the help of a narrator to ensure no one gets lost along the way. During the 60-minutes show, audiences are known to fall under the trance of the magnificent choreography illuminated by lights, but the narrator helps keep spectators fully immersed in the story.
This immersive dance spectacle breathes new life into The Sleeping Beauty. True love’s first kiss is illuminated by glimmering ensembles that light up the stage, making for an utterly marvelous evening of dance, music and light.
